would not qualify as an outright bootleg. It is called "Crystal Melody"
and some people say that it is licenced by Avex, others - that it is an
illegal recording. These are simply melodies from Ayumi songs in the form
of a 'music box' - instrumental only with no voice (if you know what xylophone
sonds like - that's what it is). Sold on e-bay from Canada and Hong Kong.
There are many similar products from e-bay and Yahoo auctions in Japan and Hong Kong (the 'crystal melody' or 'acoustic piano' versions of Ayumi songs). If you are thinking of buying any, please check that 'avex trax', 'avex inc' or 'avex asia' is the distributor or the licensing company.
