Cradle
Mountain (1545 m) and Dove Lake are located 8 km south from the
Visitor Centre. Please be very careful when driving - the road is
a winding one lane road with pockets to allow oncoming vehicles
to pass.
An important note - weather conditions can change rapidly and frequently: sunshine, strong wind, rain and snow can all occur within a single hour. Please ensure that you have adequate clothing, food and equipment if you intend to trek in the area - the Visitor Center can provide you with the right advice.
