Emu
Valley Rhododendron Garden is located south of Burnie in northern
Tasmania. It exists since 1985 and most of the development has been
achieved through voluntary work. The Garden covers a 13 hectare
site with over 18,000 plants already planted with plans for further
expansion. There are displays dedicated to wild species in a geographical
arrangement - representing Asia Minor, Himalayas, China, Japan and
North America. There are also garden varieties - all creating an
amazing picture. Please click on the image to enlarge it.
